Established as the ‘Dinner Party’ in 1937, with the intention of fellowship and weekly dinners, it took 8 years before the name was changed to Memon Debating Society; on 26th June 1945, to be precise. The pillars on which the society has stood ever since are ‘Fostering Brotherhood through Fellowship’ vide Fellowship, Brotherhood, Religion, Education, Charity and Service to the Jamat.
