Alhamdulillah, despite having realised the unsuitability of the Nyali Bridge plot to the Jamat for a housing scheme after its initial attempt to procure it in December 2019, the overwhelmingly positive response showed us one thing – that members of our Jamat were ready and were waiting for a housing scheme put up by the Jamat.
Since then, the NMJ Trustee Board has worked tirelessly towards identifying a similar plot on Mombasa Island where a housing scheme could be put up. Alhamdulillah, it has earmarked a seafront plot in Tudor (not many such plots are available in Mombasa) and is working towards acquiring it for a proposed multiple towers housing scheme. It is envisaged that the proposed Tudor Housing Project shall comprise 3- and 4-bedroom units in multi residential towers through a financial model, as well as a commercial section for the Jamat on the roadside.
Based on the price quoted to us for the plot and initial estimated construction costs, we have prepared a schedule of the estimated

cost per apartment at the proposed Tudor Housing Project and subsequently the minimum amounts that will need to be put up as down payment. This is as per the table below. At this stage, we are reaching out to all those who may be interested in unconditionally supporting the initial funding of the plot purchase.
